My goodness I am late putting this post up.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

Ok, so a little over a week ago I had chemo #4 and this was my last “Red Devil” treatment! WOOHOO!! I have to say that I am glad that part is over. Not sure how many more of those I could have handled.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

This time was a little different than the past treatments in that I finally had to break down and take the anti-nausea meds the doctor prescribed. I’m used to being a little sick to my stomach all the time from treatment. And I have been pretty pleased that I have been able to avoid taking more medication, but this was a different monster. I was happy to shove the pills in my face!<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

So, first round of chemo is complete and it’s on to the second round. Next up is Taxol every week for the next 12 weeks. This medication, so I am told, will most likely make me less nauseous but more tired. (I think I can live with being tired.) Taxol is also known to make your eyelashes and eyebrows fall out as well as do a number on your fingernails and potentially cause neuropathy in the hands and feet, I now get to see my oncologist every three weeks so she can keep an eye on me because of it.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n
