Friday, January 23rd my husband called me to let me know he was on his way home from work and that he had a present for me in the car. He said he had no idea what it was as it was from everyone at the office. My curiosity was piqued. <\/span><\/strong>

\nOnce home, he handed me a brightly wrapped package.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

I opened it up and inside was a big box of chocolates, two envelopes, and a cute little purple bucket with flowers on it. In the bucket I saw two big chocolate bars. As I took the chocolate bars out it seemed like there was something else in the bucket. I tipped it forward so I could see in it and instantly my eyes were flooded with tears and my hands began to shake, I was so overwhelmed. I reached in the bucket and pulled out a wad of cash only to have more cash spill out of the bucket on to my lap. I was crying and laughing and shaking and couldn’t seem to compose myself. I then grabbed the envelope that looked like a card and opened it. It read “Here is a bucket for your bucket list. You are in all of our thoughts! ~Your Parallax family” and it was signed by nearly everyone who works at Parallax. These wonderful people took up a collection to help me fund my bucket list wishes!<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

Next I opened the business envelope from Parallax and inside was a heartfelt letter from Ken Gracey on behalf of the company and again, I was completely blown away. The letter outlined that Parallax was going to provide Chris and I will with a travel reimbursement so that he and I could go on vacation to some of the places on my bucket list. Wow! Just WOW! So now, not only are my travel expenses covered, I have spending money to really enjoy the time I have left. All I could do was cry tears of happiness and gratitude.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

The incredible generosity that Parallax and all of it’s employees has shown me humbles me to my very core. I am so very lucky and grateful to know such wonderful people. I am truly blessed. I look forward to planning trips to the mountains and to the ocean and I owe it all to some very generous souls who wanted to make sure my wishes were fulfilled.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n
