I guess you never expect it to happen to you until it does. One day you’re dealing with a chronic problem hoping things don’t get any worse…just hanging on and trying to move forward. And then you get the news.
On top of bad Lymphodema, my wife was recently diagnosed with Breast Cancer. I feel somewhat helpless. I know that can’t compare with what she’s going through. But she needs all the love and support she can get right now and one thing I know I can do is attempt to prepare for the inevitable. Things are going to get worse before they get better and we’re going to find ourselves in need of support. This page is here to chronicle Wendy’s (our) struggle and seek support from our friends, family and anyone else who can offer support.
