Maybe tomorrow…they decided they want to have her stay an extra day for observation. Better safe than sorry, especially since we’re an hour away from this hospital.
While I was there I kept seeing Wendy’s feet move under the covers on her bed. She had been complaining about her legs so I thought she was just moving her legs/feet trying to stretch them. After awhile I became aware that both feet moved at the same time and that each movement of the feet was accompanied by a buzzing sound, a click and then a kind of hissing sound. This was happening every few seconds. Turns out they had this device hooked up to her feet to help with circulation. It pumps air into these little feet-cuffs and then releases it. Wendy described it as an almost massage of the feet. Here’s a picture.
Also, there was a very small waiting room that wasn’t much larger than an elevator car. When I looked up one of the ceiling tiles was lit up and looked like a sky image. Because of the lighting the normal tiles look dark in this, but at least you can see the center Sky Tile!
